THE PINEAPPLE METHOD
Developed by us + Designed to create strong & confident women
The below principles underpin all programming at Pineapple Fitness
With over 30 years of combined coaching experience, specialising in coaching women, we integrate ground breaking research into our programs.
Educated by Stacy Sims, a renowned exercise physiologist and nutrition scientist, we embrace her philosophy that "Women are not small men." Our approach revolves around true resistance training, emphasising the importance of lifting heavy weights for all women, including those in peri and post-menopause.
Incorporating weights into our programs is crucial to stimulate power, strength, and lean mass development, especially considering the decline in estrogen levels during menopause. By adding load to workouts, we stimulate the central nervous system and promote adaptations similar to those induced by estrogen.
Additionally, our conditioning routines include sprint interval training (SIT) and high-intensity interval training (HiiT). These methods, characterised by short bursts of intense exercise followed by recovery, yield numerous benefits for body composition and overall health, including improvements in heart, brain, and gut health.

We know that joining an exercise group can be seriously daunting, and most women are nervous about their first class. Our community is the most amazing bunch of females, who are super supportive, welcoming, friendly and FUN! Our classes have women of all shapes, sizes, ages and fitness levels and are 100% judgment free. Please don’t worry about being able to keep up, LOTS of our girls were worried about their fitness or size before they started but we work with all levels of fitness and design our sessions to allow people to go at their own pace. The culture at Pineapple Fitness is very inclusive, the most important thing is to just start. We have so many ladies saying that they wish they started so much earlier once they just start!
