Investing in Myself with Pineapple Fitness

My advice to anyone who is wanting to get started at Pineapple but is feeling nervous is to give it a go—it's a great investment in yourself!

Before I started, I felt a bit lost. Growing up, I always played sport to keep fit, but with a 3-month-old baby, sports didn't seem like an option at the time.

The three things I've gained since training at Pineapple are friendships, physical strength, and a better mindset around food.

What I like most about Pineapple is the friendships and accountability. I'm more motivated to train when I know I'm meeting someone at training. I have friends and the coach checking in all the time.

When I first started, I didn't know many people, but once I began attending regular sessions and social events, I started to feel like I'm part of a great community. Pineapple has truly made a positive impact on my life!

Finding My Tribe at Pineapple Fitness

No judgement, only encouragement. This group has given me the confidence to just give anything a go because I know they support me along the way. The experience, knowledge, and expertise the coaches provide me with give me complete confidence and trust in all I do.

What I've gained since training at Pineapple are:

* My Tribe! - What I needed the most and didn't know I was missing.

* Acceptance to be me - with no judgement at all. Finding this community has given me so much happiness.

* Feeling Strong! - I LOVE TO WORKOUT! Who would have thought?! I never knew I would love to work out. The endorphin rush I get and how this gets me through the day is the best, most addictive experience. I always leave feeling amazing with a smile on my face. Never regret a workout, ever.

Joining our community is good for your mental health, happiness, fitness, health, and overall well-being. You will make friendships that become family, and it's for life.

My advice to anyone who is wanting to get started at Pineapple but is feeling nervous is... there is no judgement in this family, just encouragement, love, and laughs! Set a small goal and before you know it, you will be killing it!

Before I started training at Pineapple, I felt unmotivated and out of condition. I played a game of touch and was so out of breath (and also fell over myself playing the ball) that it really kicked my arse into action!

The three things I've gained since training at Pineapple are fitness, health, and motivation.

What I like most about Pineapple is the community—women supporting women. Joining Pineapple has been one of the best decisions I've ever made!

I wanted to find a fun and supportive outdoor exercise group that would help me stay consistent with training. "I'D NEVER EXERCISED BEFORE, I AVOIDED IT, AND NOW I AM ADDICTED!"

I was so nervous to begin and start. But after my first session, I WAS ADDICTED! That was 8 years ago, and I haven't looked back since.

I've dropped 20KG and maintained it, smashing countless fitness goals along the way. One of my proudest achievements was running up the biggest hill in King Edward Park, something I had wanted to conquer for a long time. Today, I still look at that hill as something I beat!

Not only have I transformed my own life, but I've also inspired my family, including my two teenage children, to be active. Pineapple Fitness has truly changed our lives for the better!

Before I started with Pineapple Fitness, I felt pretty blah and very sluggish. My second child was just over a year old, and I really wasn't doing anything for myself or my health. Joining Pineapple changed everything for me.

My Transformation Journey with Pineapple Fitness

Before joining Pineapple Fitness, my desk job left me physically and mentally drained. I developed a shoulder injury, gained weight, and struggled with fatigue, body aches, and hot flushes, especially during COVID lockdowns and post-menopause. Feeling isolated and missing connections, I knew I needed a change.

When lockdown ended, I joined Pineapple and found exactly what I needed. My initial goals were simple: get out of bed earlier, move my body, build strength, and find joy again. Pineapple provided a welcoming and fun community, with supportive and knowledgeable coaches who tailor workouts to individual needs.

I love the variety of classes, especially BBB (dance), Strong, and Boxing, and the holistic approach to health, including diet and mental wellness tips. The complimentary yoga and outdoor classes with ocean swims and coffee are fantastic bonuses. Pineapple's challenges help members connect and stay motivated.

My next goal is to keep moving and getting stronger, especially post-menopause. Pineapple's 80/20 concept for food and alcohol has been a game changer. I feel more energetic, sleep better, and maintain a healthier routine.

To anyone nervous about starting at Pineapple: don't think, just do! It will be the best decision for your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Every woman deserves to feel healthy, confident, and connected while having fun!
